Yeah, you'll want at least T3 Weapons and Armor before you start doing anything else, T4 is better but it does cut into timing. Just depends on what you want to to. I, for instance, will be grinding up to T3 gear, then breaking off to gather ad craft my brains out so I can make some starting money easily from people coming in to buy their gear.
